The poll, released as Public Accounting Report&#8217;s 29th Annual Survey of Accounting Professors, ranked Baylor&#8217;s undergraduate program No. 23 in the nation and No. 10 among similar-sized programs.<\/p>\n<p>The graduate program also was honored, just missing the nationwide top 25 (earning honorable mention) but placing 11th among programs with a similar number of teaching faculty.<\/p>\n<p>Of course, none of this is surprising to Baylor Proud readers. After all, when <a href=\"https:\/\/www2.baylor.edu\/2009\/09\/accounting-entrepreneurship-programs-again-among-nations-best\/\" target=\"_blank\">you&#8217;re in the top five in the nation year after year on CPA exam pass rate<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www2.baylor.edu\/2009\/04\/business-school-among-nations-top-10-in-three-categories\/\" target=\"_blank\">lauded by such publications as <em>BusinessWeek<\/em><\/a> on a consistent basis, someone&#8217;s bound to notice.<\/p>\n<p>Sic \u2019em, Baylor accounting!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A recent nationwide survey of more than 1,700 accounting professors found that Baylor&#8217;s accounting program is recognized as one of the nation&#8217;s very best.
