As of last week, following her appearance on ABC&#8217;s World News Tonight, more than $100,000 had poured in for the orphanage!<\/p>\n<p>Thanks to the generous donations, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.legacymissions.org\/KristinsMiracleHouse.html\" target=\"_blank\">&#8220;Kristin&#8217;s Miracle House&#8221; will now be joined by &#8220;Kristin&#8217;s Miracle Clinic for AIDS Orphans&#8221;<\/a> as part of the Tree of LIFE Children&#8217;s Village outside the city of Lusaka, <strike>Kenya&#8217;s<\/strike> Zambia&#8217;s capital. The Village will eventually include 25 homes housing over 300 children; Kristin&#8217;s Miracle House is home number seven. <a href=\"https:\/\/app.etapestry.com\/hosted\/FamilyLegacyMissionsInterna\/OnlineDonation.html\" target=\"_blank\">Tax-deductible donations<\/a> are still being accepted.<\/p>\n<p>There&#8217;s another Baylor connection here, too, that I only just learned about. The Village is coordinated by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.legacymissions.org\" target=\"_blank\">Family Legacy Missions International<\/a> &#8212; which was founded by 1986 Baylor alum <a href=\"http:\/\/www.legacymissions.org\/staff.html\" target=\"_blank\">Greer Kendall<\/a>. As long as Kristin&#8217;s cancer doesn&#8217;t return, she&#8217;ll be headed back to Zambia on another trip with the organization next month.
