After earning her masters degree at Texas A&amp;M in education administration, she went to work for then Governor George W. Bush.<\/p>\n<p>She spent three years in the governor&#8217;s office before following Bush to Washington, D.C., where she worked for five years. During that time, she redesigned <a href=\"http:\/\/www.whitehouse.gov\/\" target=\"_blank\">whitehouse.gov<\/a> and created the first separate White House website for children, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.whitehousekids.gov\/\" target=\"_blank\">whitehousekids.gov<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Today, Cook is an <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thinkbigusa.com\/janecook\/\" target=\"_blank\">author<\/a> and public speaker, making appearances across the country, including many <a href=\"http:\/\/www.baylor.edu\/network\/index.php?id=3875\" target=\"_blank\">Baylor Network events<\/a>.
