(Sounds like a children&#8217;s book&#8230;) Thursday, fans of <em>Bones<\/em> got a bit of Baylor football thrown their way (fast forward to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hulu.com\/watch\/121417\/bones-the-dentist-in-the-ditch\" target=\"_blank\">the 10:05 mark here<\/a>). That appearance came one day after Megan McCallon, BA &#8217;06, was one of 31 Dallas hopefuls <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dallasnews.com\/sharedcontent\/dws\/ent\/stories\/0128dngdidol.412e72a.html\" target=\"_blank\">to be passed through to the Hollywood portion of <em>American Idol<\/em><\/a>!<\/p>\n<p><script src=\"http:\/\/widgets.americanidol.com\/o\/49e3b4acb258ffb9\/4b62ff19a56a514d\/49e3b4ac73ab11c8\/9156549f\/-cpid\/5bb7e85420bc48cc\/widget.js\" type=\"text\/javascript\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>As she mentions in her interview, McCallon might be better known to her peers at Baylor as &#8220;Chapel Girl,&#8221; having helped lead worship in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.baylor.edu\/spirituallife\/index.php?id=53461\" target=\"_blank\">Chapel<\/a> from Fall &#8217;03 through Spring &#8217;06. You might also have seen her performing in Sing and Pigskin with Kappa Kappa Gamma, at Baylor&#8217;s After Dark shows in 2002, 2003 and 2004 (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=Xztwi-TCft0\" target=\"_blank\">here&#8217;s a clip<\/a> from that last show), or as the winner of the Baylor Religious Hour&#8217;s &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.baylor.edu\/lariat\/news.php?action=story&amp;story=17488\" target=\"_blank\">Baylor Icon<\/a>&#8221; competition in 2002. (Apparently that was good practice for <em>American Idol<\/em>!) She was also a member of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.baylor.edu\/bran\/index.php?id=34079\" target=\"_blank\">Baylor Rising Artist Network<\/a>.
