Before he was topping the charts as a GRAMMY-nominee, winning two Dove Awards<\/a>, and achieving massive success for his 2024 national tour, Forrest Frank<\/a> (BBA ’17) was a typical student leaning into his Baylor experience.<\/p>\n

From participating in All University Sing<\/a> to donning a suit and tie<\/a> for the professional sales program in Hankamer School of Business, Frank embraced his experience and thrived at Baylor.<\/p>\n

Throughout his Baylor years, Frank was working on his music — writing and producing his own sound. After graduation, he briefly balanced a full-time job and a part-time run at his music career. But it wasn’t long before he decided to take on the music industry full-time.<\/p>\n

Frank and collaborator Colin Padalecki formed the viral hit-producing duo Surfaces<\/a> in 2016. Their upbeat, pop sound found an audience with mega-hits like \u201cSunday Best<\/a>.\u201d Frank also felt called to produce a Christian album that would resonate with and inspire young people to know the love of Christ. \u201cChild of God,\u201d Frank\u2019s solo LP, was released in 2024, and hit the No. 1 spot on iTunes across all genres<\/a> within days of its release. He launched his first solo album tour in June 2024, selling out venues across the nation.<\/p>\n
