Has it really been 10 years??<\/p>\n

It\u2019s hard to believe, but a decade has now passed since Robert Griffin III (BA ’10) took the college football world by storm and set a new standard for what Baylor football players could accomplish. His memorable season — including an opening night comeback win over TCU<\/a>, the miraculous game-winning touchdown pass against Oklahoma<\/a> and a regular season-ending win over Texas<\/a> — drew national attention to Baylor and made \u201cRG3\u201d a household name far beyond the Baylor Family.<\/p>\n

When Griffin won the Heisman Trophy<\/a> on Dec. 10, 2011, he became the first Baylor player to do so — making Baylor one of only 40 schools<\/a> in history to claim a Heisman winner. The announcement sparked celebrations across campus and throughout the city<\/a>, and his unforgettable speech<\/a> cast a vision for even greater things to come at Baylor.<\/p>\n
