With three national championships<\/a> and a decade-plus worth of Big 12 titles<\/a> on her resume, Baylor women’s basketball head coach Kim Mulkey\u2019s<\/a> accomplishments have long been legendary. Now, she\u2019s earned the game\u2019s highest honor — enshrinement in the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Earlier this year, Mulkey became the fastest coach in college basketball history (on both the women\u2019s and men\u2019s sides) to win 600 games<\/a>, and she remains the only individual to have won national championships as a player, assistant coach and head coach. She is part of a 2020 Hall of Fame class that is already being recognized among the best in history, joining such NBA legends as Tim Duncan, Kobe Bryant and Rudy Tomjanovich among its nine inductees.<\/p>\n

The honor is about as good as it gets in the basketball world — but it\u2019s far from the only Hall of Fame Mulkey calls home, having already been inducted into the\u00a0Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame<\/a>, National High School Hall of Fame<\/a>, CoSIDA Academic All-America Hall of Fame, <\/a>Texas Sports Hall of Fame<\/a>, Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame<\/a>,\u00a0Baylor Athletics Hall of Fame<\/a> and Louisiana Tech Athletics Hall of Fame<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The latest honor adds Mulkey’s name to an illustrious list of Baylor Bears (alumni and coaches) who have earned enshrinement in their sports’ halls of fame:<\/p>\n
