In January, Yelp released its list of the “Top 100 Places to Eat in the U.S. 2019<\/a>“. While perusing the list, we noticed something quite exciting: sitting at No. 71 was Waco\u2019s own Lula Jane\u2019s<\/a>,\u00a0owned by Baylor alumna Nancy Grayson!<\/p>\n

Lula Jane\u2019s is a beloved local caf\u00e9 in East Waco that, since 2012, has been serving local food and incredible baked goods. Named for Grayson\u2019s grandmother, the\u00a0caf\u00e9 serves made-from-scratch baked goods, hot coffee and a daily lunch special<\/a> using herbs and vegetables grown in Grayson’s on-site garden.\u00a0If you\u2019re a regular, you might be a fan of their weekly Thursday cake special<\/a>.<\/p>\n
