You couldn’t ask for better weather than Waco had yesterday for Diadeloso 2018 — sunny, but with a nice breeze that kept temperatures in the 70s for most of the day.<\/p>\n
Students took full advantage, kicking off the day with a Fun Run at McLane Stadium<\/a>, complete with\u00a0colored paint, foam, and an iconic shirt from First Gent Brad Livingstone. The return of goat yoga<\/a>, a student favorite which first appeared at last year\u2019s Dia<\/a>,\u00a0 was a hit once again — because, GOAT YOGA.<\/p>\n [See photos from the entire day<\/a>]<\/strong><\/p>\n As always, students lined up for free lunch<\/a>, complete with cookies from Miss Mei<\/a>. Performances by Virtuoso<\/a>, Poppers, Lockers, & Breakers<\/a>, and the Baylor Swing Dance Society<\/a> entertained crowds on the main stage. And there were plenty of fun activities for students to participate in: archery tag<\/a>, bubble soccer<\/a>, a zip line<\/a>, and of course, tug of war<\/a>. Students also took turns testing their strength in our very own Ninja Warrior course<\/a>.<\/p>\n Goats weren’t the only animals joining the Bears students on campus.\u00a0Students had the opportunity to take pictures with sloths, giraffes, and more<\/a>! Last but not least, the day wrapped up with more free food from local vendors like Club Sandwich<\/a>, Vitek\u2019s<\/a>, Mix Caf\u00e9<\/a> and Pokey O\u2019s<\/a>, as well as live music from Baylor students and closing act Honest Men<\/a>.<\/p>\n Sic \u2019em, #BaylorDia participants!<\/p>\n
