Baylor students have spent countless hours — months, really — planning, choreographing and rehearsing this year’s Sing acts. Over the past two weekends, they put their hard work to the test, performing their acts for thousands of Baylor students, alumni and fans.<\/p>\n

Congratulations to the ladies and gentlemen of Pi Beta Phi and Phi Kappa Chi, who took home first place this year for their joint act, \u201cThe Tortoise and the Hare.\u201d As The Lariat<\/em>‘s review noted, \u201cPi Phi and Phi Chi revived a classic tale with their high energy and enthusiasm. The most breathtaking element of the performance was easily the costumes, but the singing and dancing didn\u2019t disappoint in the least.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kappa Kappa Gamma took second for their 1960s-themed act, \u201cWorkin\u2019 at the Carwash,\u201d followed by Tri Delta in third for their garden-themed act, \u201cBack to Our Roots.\u201d Chi Omega, Theta, FIJI, Kappa Omega Tau and Alpha Tau Omega will joining the winners to perform at Pigskin Revue this fall; mark your calendars now for #BaylorHomecoming<\/a> weekend, Nov. 1-3!<\/p>\n

All University Sing<\/a>\u00a0is a\u00a0Baylor tradition dating back to 1953.\u00a0This year\u2019s event featured 17 seven-minute Broadway-style acts from student organizations, all competing in front of judges, family and friends.\u00a0Watch the video<\/a> below for a quick look into what All-University Sing is all about.<\/p>\n
