I\u2019m pre-med. <em>[What&#8217;s next?]<\/em> Definitely med school. &#8230; I intend to blend business and medicine, being an inventor of medical devices. I\u2019m in an engineering class, medical device design evaluation, right now. [I want to be]\u00a0a medical device inventor, and kind of my loftiest goal is to be a chief medical officer, where you\u2019re kind of the head doctor of a hospital and you interface with administrators and business decision makers a lot. There\u2019s no point in setting it low, your goal in life. If you don\u2019t believe in yourself, why should anyone else believe in you?<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Cardiology is the field I\u2019m interested in. There\u2019s not so much an interest that I want to solve, like one particular thing, but maybe my focus would be in heart transplants and chronic diseases like congestive heart failure, diabetes, obesity, that kind of thing. There are a lot of brilliant people working that field. I\u2019ve had an internship, done some research in that area, published a paper. It was last November was when I submitted it for publication. It\u2019s just something I was interested in doing while shadowing.
