Several of you wrote in asking for an update, and thankfully, Jerry Hill at the Baylor Bear Insider has done just that with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.baylorbears.com\/genrel\/072409aaa.html\" target=\"_blank\">this excellent story<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The team visited area orphanages, held sports clinics and worked with a local pastor to help street children. And while the team members certainly had an impact on the children they worked with across Kenya, the Baylor students who were able to go might have been even more impacted.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We\u2019ve all seen the \u2018Feed the Children\u2019 commercials and stuff like that,&#8221; said sophomore football player Bryan Swindoll. &#8220;But until you\u2019re actually confronted with it&#8230; There\u2019s just so much that your mind can\u2019t wrap itself around \u2013 the need and the suffering that goes on there. But right along with it is the joy that\u2019s found in Christ.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>And that&#8217;s just one of the many teams of students that Baylor sent out on mission trips this summer.
