People talk about balance, and I\u2019ve gotten over that idea. It is juggling.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Her: &#8220;Juggling the kids is real hard. We\u2019re just getting used to that. &#8230; I just had a baby, so stuff I\u2019m dealing with is mostly just trying to raise three kids and do it while he\u2019s not home very much, as he\u2019s got school and work and everything else.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Him: &#8220;It\u2019s just a lot of transitions. Adding a new baby. Moving to a new place. Starting a new program. Starting a new job. Living in a new town. Going to a new church. &#8230; It\u2019s really tough. I guess the key is keeping track of my time. Just being very disciplined with how I spend my time. &#8230;\u00a0One of the ways we feel successful, or at least I feel successful, is being home the same times each day if possible, so that regardless of what is going on outside the home, I know I\u2019m going to be there for breakfast 90% of the time or more, and know I\u2019m going to be home for dinner 90% of the time or more. That\u2019s really helpful in just creating a secure home environment for the kids.
