Written and directed by Reynolds (the son of former Baylor President Herbert Reynolds), <em>Risen<\/em> tells the\u00a0Biblical story of the Resurrection\u00a0through the eyes of a non-believer.\u00a0Clavius, a Roman soldier played by\u00a0Joseph Fiennes (<em>Shakespeare in Love<\/em>, <em>Luther<\/em>), is tasked\u00a0with finding\u00a0Jesus&#8217; body following the crucifixion in order to disprove rumors of a risen Messiah. Tom Felton (Draco Malfoy from the <em>Harry Potter<\/em> series) plays his aide.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"768\" height=\"432\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/OcTVLfn5i8g?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Produced by Affirm Films, the Christian arm of Sony Pictures, the story\u00a0fills in some gaps in the Biblical narrative without making any heretical missteps.
