Sometimes the green and gold stretches to include a grandparent, uncle, aunt or cousin. But this &#8212; <em>this<\/em> is a legacy.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. A. Dale Allen, a longtime Hankamer School of Business professor, and his wife, Anita, sent four of their five children to Baylor: Lori Allen Taylor, BBA &#8217;84; Krista Allen Meek, BSED &#8217;86, MSED &#8217;91; Kirk Allen, BBA &#8217;87, MBA &#8217;88; and Tanya Allen Holstead, BBA &#8217;89. That&#8217;s a good start.<\/p>\n<p>Those four children have combined to give the Allens 16 grandchildren &#8212; including eight who are enrolled at Baylor right now. The first of those will graduate in December. Dr. and Mrs. Allen are pictured above with their eight current Baylor Bears: seniors Cameron Holstead,\u00a0Cody Holstead and Jessica Taylor; juniors Rachael Brown and\u00a0Grayson Meek; sophomores\u00a0Caty Beth Holstead and Rachel Taylor; and freshman Kasie Meek.<\/p>\n<p>I imagine they&#8217;ll have quite a gathering at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.baylor.edu\/familyweekend\/\" target=\"_blank\">Family Weekend<\/a> tomorrow and Saturday!<\/p>\n<p>Sic \u2019em, Baylor legacies!<\/p>\n<p><em>[Are you part of an extended legacy family? <\/em>Baylor Magazine<em> wants to know! <a href=\"https:\/\/www.baylor.edu\/alumni\/index.php?id=91909\" target=\"_blank\">Click here to submit a Class Note<\/a> to the magazine; please include a list (with graduation years, if possible) of all the Bears in your family tree.
