Now, legendary Baylor quarterback Don Trull has joined the ranks of college football\u2019s immortals with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.baylorbears.com\/sports\/m-footbl\/spec-rel\/050713aaa.html\" target=\"_blank\">his election into the College Football Hall of Fame<\/a> earlier this month.<\/p>\n<p>Half a century after he starred at Baylor, Trull\u2019s name still appears throughout the program&#8217;s record books alongside the top passers in BU history. His exploits helped transform college football from a game dominated by the run into the aerial shootouts we see today.<\/p>\n<p>Trull led the nation in passing yardage and touchdowns during his highly decorated senior year (1963), when he finished <a href=\"http:\/\/www.heisman.com\/winners\/r-staubach63.php\" target=\"_blank\">fourth in the Heisman Trophy voting<\/a>, was a first-team All-American and first-team All-Southwest Conference selection, and became Baylor\u2019s first National Football Foundation National Scholar-Athlete.<\/p>\n<p>The Oklahoma City native is Baylor\u2019s 10th member of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.footballfoundation.org\/Programs\/CollegeFootballHallofFame.aspx\" target=\"_blank\">College Football Hall of Fame<\/a>, joining\u00a0such iconic names as <a href=\"http:\/\/www.footballfoundation.org\/Programs\/CollegeFootballHallofFame\/SearchDetail.aspx?id=70069\" target=\"_blank\">Grant Teaff<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.footballfoundation.org\/Programs\/CollegeFootballHallofFame\/SearchDetail.aspx?id=70022\" target=\"_blank\">Mike Singletary<\/a>.
