February was a busy month of milestones for many of Baylor’s social media offerings, as the Facebook<\/a> page topped 111,000 likes, our Pinterest<\/a> page picked up its 2,000th follower, and Instagram<\/a> crossed the 5,000 follower plateau.<\/p>\n

In a new ranking that looks at college and university Facebook and Twitter accounts, Baylor ranked in the 93rd percentile nationally for total fans and followers<\/a>. Ranked 45th out of more than 600 schools across the country, Baylor comes in ahead of many larger, arguably better-known schools such as Virginia Tech (31,000 students), Southern California (38,000 students) and Florida State (42,000 students).<\/p>\n
