Prominent Bears join in celebrating men’s basketball’s national title
One of the many, many fun parts of Monday night’s Baylor basketball national championship was seeing so many prominent Bears celebrating the win on social media.
Some of them were in the arena, cheering on the Bears right there in Indianapolis. For instance — NFL quarterback Robert Griffin III (BA ’10) was there with his family:

Magnolia megastars Chip (BBA ’98) and Joanna (BA ’01) Gaines made their way to Indy, too:

Longtime ESPN personality Trey Wingo (BA ’85) and Baylor football coach Dave Aranda also were there to cheer on the Bears:

Many others were flinging their green and gold from afar — such as The Office star Angela Kinsey (BA ’93) and Christian music star David Crowder:

Major League Baseball all-star Max Muncy was reportedly checking the score between innings of the Dodgers’ game that night, and posted his congrats later on Instagram.
Passion co-founder Louie Giglio, popular comedian Jeff Dunham (BA ’86), Olympic track stars Michael Johnson (BBA ’91) and Jeremy Wariner, and even former Baylor football coach Matt Rhule (now leading the Carolina Panthers) all also posted their congrats on social media. They were joined by a host of former Baylor basketball stars, including current and former NBA stars such as Quincy Acy (BA ’12), Ekpe Udoh (BSED ’11) and Royce O’Neale (BSED ’15).
And the celebration hasn’t stopped; in fact, it will continue at least through Tuesday, when Waco hosts a parade in the Bears’ honor.
Sic ’em, Bears!
