After 16 years, a Baylor fan has finally won the $5,000 Mattson Financial Services putt
Earlier this month, Baylor fan Ky Carlson sunk a full-court putt in the Mattson Financial Services putt time-out contest, taking home the $5,000 prize.
Long-time Baylor basketball fans get just how big a deal this is.

For the challenge, Ky had to make a putt from all the way across the basketball floor — a 96-foot putt. A standard during Baylor basketball games for the last 16 years, the game has seen fans get gotten closer and closer to sinking the hole-in-one, but none had ever quite done it.
The moment had the entire crowd on their feet and roaring, almost as if Baylor had just won a national championship. The video immediately went viral and got social media in a frenzy — even catching the attention of ESPN and the Golf Channel.
It was my dream to try this putt while I was at Baylor…congrats to whoever got it. Any video? https://t.co/NAXQFiSUBk

On the @PGATOUR, the probability of sinking a 94-foot putt (regulation size basketball court) is ~1%. In fact, there's a 39% chance you'd have to three-putt from that distance (assuming no slope). https://t.co/v5UM9xtIti

Maybe it’s just a small moment with a small prize — but the buildup of anticipation as the Baylor Family has watched fans attempt the putt for 16 years was just too much!
Sic ’em, Ky!
