• #BearsOfBaylor — “Baylor is where I found who I was.”

“I graduated in ’97, so this is my 20-year reunion. I was in Chi Omega. I got to be a part of Pigskin and Sing, and they [the kids] got to see that. Those were awesome, awesome memories. They’ve heard me talk about it, and they got to see what it’s all about.

“Baylor is where I found who I was. I wanted them to see what that looked like and what it meant and how it connects back to who I am. Most of my heart friends, I’m still in touch with 20 years later. They’re still my close friends.”

    [Any advice for future alumni?]
“Enjoy this. Spend time. It’s all about building relationships, getting to know new people, getting to know new kinds of people, figuring out who you want to be. Because at every point in life, you have a choice: Who am I gonna be in this moment? And if you can find who you really were called to be and designed to be and created by God to be, it just sets a foundation. Do that now, before you get into the hustle and bustle of life and you don’t have time to think about it. This is the time to do it. I’m just thankful, because that was the foundation that I got when I was here.”
