• #BearsOfBaylor — “I’m excited for him. My whole life, I wanted the best for my kids.”

Student: “I’m really nervous about grades, about falling behind. But I know there are a whole bunch of tutoring programs to help me, and I’m not alone. There are probably people in my classes that will help me out. I’m sure if I just stayed behind and asked the teacher to explain some things, they’d be able to do it.”

Mom: “I’m excited for him. My whole life, I wanted the best for my kids. I want them to have good school all the time, and I was always behind them. I always want them to have good grades. I don’t want them to fight with nobody. I don’t want them to be in detention or nothing. I was always behind them. They don’t like that, but they understand now that this was good for them.”

Student: “I’m majoring in medical humanities. It has a direct line really to the whole medical field, and I know a lot of people say it’s not like a biology or a chemistry major. It deals more with human interacting and dealing with patients and all that. And a lot of the doctors I’ve talked to have said it’s a really good choice, because medical schools, they eat that up. Because you’re just a nicer person. You know how to deal with patients, you have a basis in knowing how to treat a patient and basic human stuff.”
