[Who did you talk to the most when picking a college?]
Student: “My mom, I talked to my mom the most. I mean, my college advisor at my school was amazing, too, but I think just discussing what would be the best fit for me in a college is, ‘Who knows me intimately like my mom?’ I think my mom was definitely my go-to person in that area.”

[What are your thoughts as you send your oldest to college?]
Mom: “I just pray she doesn’t marry some Texan and never come home. That’s my thoughts. Just come home! No, you know, you have plans for life, and you make these plans, but ultimately the Lord knows what’s in store for us. I know she’s going to do well, I’m excited for her to be here. I think this is going to be a great fit for her. I do hope she comes home, but if not, I guess I can move to Texas…”
