• This flash mob Baylor proposal is going viral

You probably hear this a lot — but this might be the best video you see all day.

Recent Baylor graduate Samuel Azide, BBA ’17, proposed to his girlfriend Anitria Flores, BA ‘15, last month in one of the most exciting ways possible: a flash mob. While celebrating his graduation dinner at Waco restaurant 1424, music suddenly started playing — and Samuel suddenly started dancing:

As Anitria learned later, Samuel had been sending instructional videos to her friends and family for six months leading up to that night. “Sam actually choreographed the entire dance,” Anitria says. “And made sure to simplify the moves for those who didn’t dance and weren’t confident in their dancing abilities, like my family. … There were so many things that happened behind the scenes to make this happen.”

At the time of writing, their YouTube video has more than 11,000 views and has been covered by outlets such as the Austin-American Statesman, Texas Monthly, and How He Asked. We wish the best of luck to the happy Baylor couple!

    Sic ’em, Sam and Anitria!
