• #BearsOfBaylor — “It’s exciting, kind of not knowing what’s coming next…”

[As a senior, are you scared or excited?]
“A little bit of both. Ask me in about a month, and hopefully it will be a little more excited than scared. Once more of the (hopefully) acceptances — maybe rejections — kind of start rolling back in, so it’s a little bit less of this limbo state… But yeah, it’s exciting, kind of not knowing what’s coming next and just being able to trust.

“I actually don’t have a super firmed-up plan. I’m kind of just leaving it open to whatever is meant to be. I’ve applied to grad schools and I’m applying to jobs as well. I’m just kind of seeing what comes back and choosing from there.

“My crazy dream job would be working as a publicist on Broadway. I grew up in musical theatre and I absolutely love, love, love, love the theatre world. The way everyone becomes such a close-knit family so quickly is really amazing and meant a lot to me and was really formative growing up. I’m still active in theatre now. I get to teach kids musical theatre with an organization called Christian Youth Theatre Waco, and it’s so much fun.”
