• #BearsOfBaylor — “I haven’t missed a home game since 1999…”

“I haven’t missed a home game since 1999. It’s just something that I have fun coming to, and ended up just falling in love with the place once I kind of got to know some of the players. Back in the day when nobody would come to the games, I had one-on-one interactions with the players, and the type of environment Coach Drew puts out there makes all of his players very approachable. It just stemmed from there. Now, I’m to the point where I’ve got my wife and kids, they come with me, we even follow the team. We were in Norman [in late December], and we’re going to Ole Miss.”

[How do you keep your voice, cheering so much?]
“I teach pre-k through 5th-grade P.E., so, I’m pretty much — not that I’m yelling at the kids all day long, but to keep command of a room with 40-45 children aged 4 through 11, my voice is pretty tested all day.”
