• Make a difference this Christmas; give the gift of Baylor

    Baylor 2016 Christmas Gift Catalog

Last week, we gave you Christmas gift ideas for the Baylor Bears in your life. But if your loved one already has all the green-and-gold t-shirts, coffee mugs and office decor they can handle, then you might take a look at the Baylor Christmas 2016 Gift Catalog.

The gifts in this catalog aren’t things you can wrap and put under the tree; they’re donations to dozens of Baylor programs, each of which is meaningful in different ways to different Bears. Here are just a few examples of how you can give to your loved ones, while also giving to Baylor students and the community:

    • Do they rave about their time at Baylor and want future Bears to have that same great experience? Donating to programs that foster community — like the Golden Wave Band, student travel packages for championship games, Line Camp, or Lady and Joy’s bear habitat — may be the winning Christmas present this year.
    • Do they get fired up about supporting the community? Give a gift in their name to the Reuniting Families Project, in which Dr. Lori Baker and her team use forensic science to identify undocumented immigrants and give their families a sense of closure. Or give to the Campus Kitchens Project, in which students collect extra food from dining halls and prepare new meals with ingredients from Baylor’s campus community garden, then deliver it daily to agencies across Waco.
    • Do they consider a great education to be the most valuable thing a person can get? Donate in their name to one of the hundreds of Baylor scholarship funds — the VETS program, Baylor nursing’s clinical experience, or the School of Music’s Carnegie Hall trip, just to name a few.

That’s all only a taste of what’s in this online catalog. We invite you to explore it and see how you can directly impact students, the Waco community, and the world.

    Sic ’em, Christmas gift givers!
