• #BearsOfBaylor — “I worked on a switchboard in Memorial.”

“I graduated in ’59. We come back every year. We have a son that graduated in ’95 and a daughter that graduated in ’96.

“I worked on a switchboard in Memorial. People used to get phone calls and it’d come in through a switchboard. I’d get the calls and they’d ask for somebody and I’d put the thing in. I enjoyed that job. I enjoyed Baylor. I enjoy the campus. It’s pretty in early mornings.

“My roommate at Baylor lives in Waco, so we’ll go out and visit her… I just like to be on campus with all the people around. Singspiration… The parade… Tailgate with the School of Education… Then we’ll go back out to Jane’s to watch the game, and on Sunday, we’ll go to church at Seventh and James. That’s where I used to go when I was at Baylor.”
