[What advice would you have for other parents?]

Dad: “Put yourself in the position of your child: the excitement, the fun, the thrill. We love our kids, obviously, so put your kid above you, above your feelings. That’s the hardest part, because my selfishness really wants him at home. But the thrill of all this, this is what I raised him for 18 years for! He’s in a great Christian school. Couldn’t ask for anything better than what Baylor will give him.”

Mom: “And it makes it better when they’re excited. My daughter, she just loved Baylor. … It’s a good school. It’s worth the drive [from Arkansas].”
