“Before I came to Baylor, I was planning on going pre-med, biology, what everyone else is planning on doing when they start at Baylor. But I was looking at the different options that Baylor offered and was really intrigued by the journalism major, just because I’ve always thought of myself as a good writer, and I enjoy writing.

“It just kind of clicked with me that pre-med wasn’t going to be — that I was going to change my major eventually — so I might as well do it before school started. So I signed up for journalism classes, and I’ve liked them so far.”
