    Be BaylorProud on social media

You love Baylor. We know you do. Why else would you be on the BaylorProud blog? You talk us up to your friends and family, and you post online for your followers to see your love. But, thanks to social media, there are even more ways you can tell the world about Baylor!

Statistics tell us that you are probably on Facebook, and if so, we trust that you’ve already “liked” Baylor University there. But that’s just the beginning; there are many more ways you can show love for your alma mater via Facebook:

    • Sign up to get notifications whenever Baylor posts, or have your feed show Baylor’s posts first. Never miss out on news about your university!
    • Share posts that really resonate with you. It’s the easiest and best thing you can do on Facebook to fling your green and gold.
    • Tag your friends in comments on the Baylor page to reminisce about your time here and maybe even plan a group trip.

If you’re an avid Twitter user, you probably follow @BaylorProud, and we certainly hope you follow @Baylor too! Here’s how to help out in the Twitterverse:

    • Sign up to get notified every time these accounts tweet. (See instructions for receiving texts as updates and for iOS and Android notifications.)
    • When tweeting about Baylor, tag @Baylor so your friends can easily find the account. And if you have something you want to show us, tag @BaylorProud!
    • Use hashtags. They not only give people a sense of what Baylor is all about, but they give us tons to share! Our most commonly used hashtags are #Baylor, #SicEm and #BaylorProud.
    • And of course, retweet, retweet, retweet!

More into photography than you are words? You must love Instagram; Baylor does too! The No. 6 most influential university on Instagram is definitely worth a follow — but there’s plenty more you can do to share the love on Instagram:

    • Turn on post notifications for Baylor. Just like with Facebook and Twitter, this ensures you won’t miss a post!
    • Tag @bayloruniversity in your photos and captions, and add a location to your photo when you’re on campus. All of this gives users an easy way to find out more about Baylor!
    • Use hashtags. Many of the same ones on Twitter are also popular on Instagram! Use #MyBaylor for anything you really want to show the university. You never know if they’ll use your photo and make you “Baylor famous”!

Sic ’em, Bears on social media!
