    ESPN College GameDay at Baylor

Add this to the list of “would have seemed crazy just a few years ago, but now just makes sense”: ESPN’s College GameDay is returning to Baylor for a second straight year.

All eyes will be on Waco Saturday, with GameDay broadcasting live from Baylor between 8-11 a.m. and then a primetime match-up between No. 4 Baylor and No. 12 Oklahoma (7 p.m., ABC). Head coach Art Briles’ Bears are a perfect 8-0 on the season, while the Sooners are 8-1. The game is officially sold out, but select tickets are available on StubHub.

GameDay will be one major part of a busy weekend for Baylor fans, starting Friday night with the season openers for men’s and women’s basketball. The No. 5-ranked Lady Bears host UT-Arlington at 6 p.m., followed by the No. 22 Bears vs. SFA at 8:30.

College GameDay runs from 8-11 a.m. and will again be located just outside McLane Stadium, between the South Plaza and Umphrey Bridge. Fans visiting the Baylor campus for the game can also check out this year’s Homecoming floats, which will be lined up along Fifth Street from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday.

Details for fans planning to attend GameDay in person are still being ironed out; bookmark baylor.edu/fanzone to watch for more information shortly. In the meantime, you can start planning your #EveryoneInBlack wardrobe for the game; the Baylor Bookstore has a wide assortment of appropriate gear, including this year’s official shirt. You can also start working on your GameDay signs; if you’re in need of inspiration, here’s a look back at last year’s best creations.

    Sic ’em, Bears!
