Baylor honored among nation’s most well-rounded curriculums for fourth straight year
Why is Baylor annually regarded as one of the nation’s top values in private higher education? Perhaps because of the well-rounded education students receive.
For the fourth straight year, Baylor was named among the top 2% of colleges and universities nationwide when it comes to high quality core-curriculum. The university was one of 22 institutions to receive an “A” in this year’s report from the American Council of Trustees and Alumni (ACTA).
The ACTA report gave letter grades to every major public and private college and university in the U.S. — more than 1,000 in all — but only 22 required even six out of seven core subjects: composition, literature, foreign language at an intermediate level, U.S. government or history, economics, mathematics, and natural or physical science.
Sic ’em, Baylor educators!
