• Young alum shines on Game Show Network’s ‘Bible Challenge’

The Bible, Jeff Foxworthy, and a team of sisters flipping silverware into cups might seem like an unlikely combination. But that’s precisely the setting where Baylor alum Faith Wardlaw, BA ’10, found herself on “The American Bible Challenge,” a Game Show Network program hosted by Foxworthy that tests how well contestants know their Bible.

As it turns out, Wardlaw and her fellow members of the Dominican Sisters of Mary of Ann Arbor, Mich., know their Bible quite well. Her team advanced to the final episode of “The American Bible Challenge,” flipping silverware, displaying their knowledge of Scripture and winning fans hearts along the way. See for yourself:

Wardlaw, who has taken the name Sister Peter Joseph, took an unlikely route to game show fame. After graduating from Baylor as a University Scholar, she became a novice with the Dominican Sisters of Mary, where leaders proposed the game show appearance. Sister Peter Joseph and her teammates fell short in the finals but won the fan favorite vote and raised over $50,000 to support retiring elder sisters.

    Sic ’em, Sister Peter Joseph!
