• Drew and Baylor hoops featured on ‘The 700 Club’

In recent years, Baylor men’s basketball has become accustomed to national media exposure. The Bears played a school-record 18 games on the ESPN family of networks last year, and this year’s squad already has nine games slated for ESPN, ESPN2 and ESPNU. But head coach Scott Drew was featured earlier this week on a national broadcast of a different sort — The 700 Club.

Drew (and by relation, Baylor basketball) factored prominently in a five-minute piece on author and executive recruiter Bob Beaudine — specifically, Beaudine’s theory on succeeding in a job search, called “The Power of Who.” According to the story, Beaudine was the recruiter who helped Baylor find Drew six years ago, and the crew that produced the piece filmed nearly the entire story in Baylor’s Ferrell Center and Whetsel Practice Facility. You can watch the piece below or read more of the story here.

Sic ’em, Coach Drew and Baylor basketball!
