Sixth Baylor student honored with Fulbright Scholarship
Just saw where a sixth Baylor student has been awarded a prestigious Fulbright Scholarship, joining the five Bears who were announced a couple of months ago. That brings the total to 13 Baylor Fulbright Scholars in just the past three years, and 20 since 2001.
The most recent honoree is Robert Moore, a Copperas Cove, Texas, native who graduated with his degree in music education/instrumental music in May. Thanks to the Fulbright program, Moore is now headed to Nepal, where he will analyze music education in Kathmandu and the surrounding areas under the tutelage of Dr. Dhrubesh Chandra Regmi, a performing sitarist and lecturer at Tribhuvan University.
