• Kiplinger’s continues to name Baylor a ‘best value’ among private schools

Kiplinger's Dec. 2011 issueAnother year, another “best value” honor for Baylor… This month, it’s Kiplinger’s Personal Finance that has named its top 100 private and liberal arts colleges for combining outstanding education with personal value.

Interestingly, even among these best values, Baylor ranks among the most affordable options. When comparing total cost per year, Baylor comes in at No. 23 (out of 100 private schools), some 30% more affordable than the most expensive schools on the list (like Columbia, Vanderbilt and USC).

The “best value” honor from Kiplinger’s has been an annual occurrence at Baylor for at least as long as we’ve been writing this blog (see 2008, 2009 and 2010 write-ups) and coincides with a six-year string of “best buy” recognitions from the Fiske Guide to Colleges.

    Sic ’em, Baylor!
