• Video tours offer a guided tour of Baylor to those far from Waco

Baylor Virtual TourEvery time I walk across campus, I just get this really good feeling — I guess it’s a mix of nostalgia and pride about all the good things going on at Baylor today. But if you’re like me, you don’t get to visit campus as often as you’d like.

If that’s the case, you owe it to yourself to check out Baylor’s new Guided Virtual Tours. The folks behind BaylorVision worked with Campus Visits to create a series of short videos that give those watching a sense of what Baylor’s campus is all about, from the historic architecture to the lively happenings and beloved traditions Baylor students experience. The guided tours include some views of campus you’ve probably never seen before, shot from a helicopter high above campus as well as a smaller vehicle buzzing along about 20 feet over, say, 5th Street — very cool shots.

In addition to the videos, there are also photo galleries that answer questions many high school students have about Baylor, like “Where will I live? Hang out? Serve? Worship?” Another gallery offers a number of desktop wallpapers for free download. All in all, an excellent introduction to Baylor for those who have not yet been able to visit campus in person — and for those who just haven’t had a chance to experience Baylor in awhile.

Sic ’em, Baylor virtual tour guides!
