Baylor named ‘Best Buy’ in new Fiske Guide to Colleges

In March 2008, Kiplinger’s Personal Finance Magazine named Baylor one of the nation’s best values among private colleges. Kiplinger’s repeated the honor this year, again ranking Baylor among the top 50 best values. And now, yet another publication has recognized what our university has to offer.

The 2010 edition of The Fiske Guide to Colleges ranks Baylor as one of its “best buys,” placing the university among a select group of 44 colleges and universities in the U.S., Canada and Great Britain. The book looked at academic quality, campus lifestyle information and cost to determine which universities received the “best buy” honor. The list of 44 “best buy” schools includes only three other schools in Texas and just one other Big 12 Conference institution.
