“I graduated in May… [This fall,] I’m going to Madrid, Spain, to teach English for a couple of years. So that’s kind of my ‘I don’t know what I’m going to do with my life, so I’m going to go leave the country and hopefully know what I want to do when I get back’ plan. I studied abroad last summer in Argentina for eight weeks. That was my only time out of the country, so I’m super nervous about going to Europe.

“I just love people, and I love learning about new cultures. I took a world cultures class with Dr. Van Gorder my sophomore year. I changed my major three times and just kind of fell in love with the different cultures and religions around the world.”
