Baylor to launch new entrepreneurship Ph.D. program
Baylor’s undergraduate entrepreneurship program has long been recognized among the best in the country. Next year, that excellence will extend to the doctoral level, as Baylor’s Hankamer School of Business introduces a Ph.D. program in entrepreneurship starting in the fall of 2016.
Only six other universities in America offer such a program — a fitting number, given that Baylor’s undergraduate entrepreneurship program has now ranked among the nation’s top 5 for six straight years.
Innovation is the key to Baylor Entrepreneurship’s excellence. Programs like Accelerated Ventures (a two-semester experience that brings the “real world” to campus, enabling students to create real companies with real products and services while raising real money) and i5 (an immersive experience bridging various schools at Baylor and introducing students to the burgeoning market in China) set Baylor apart.
The new doctoral program will launch just a year after the debut of Baylor Business’ new home, the Paul L. Foster Campus for Business and Innovation, which is set to open this fall.
Sic ’em, Baylor entrepreneurs!
