    Baylor Class of 2015

This Saturday, Baylor’s graduating seniors will receive their diplomas during spring Commencement ceremonies. Each of the hundreds of graduates has his or her own story — some of which we have already told on this blog.

Here are just a few of the faces of Baylor’s Class of 2015 who will walk the Ferrell Center stage this weekend:

    • Holly Tucker: As a sophomore, Tucker made it to the final six on NBC’s The Voice — all while keeping up with her studies at Baylor. The BUGWB member and Uproar Records artist even got country superstar Blake Shelton to do a “sic ’em” on national TV.
    • Dillon Gasper: As a junior, Gasper changed his life and that of 65-year-old Missouri resident Billy Allison when he donated blood marrow to save Allison’s life. Gasper went on to start a Baylor chapter of Be the Match to help encourage others to sign up as donors.
    • Rebekkah Wallin: Placed in a group home at age 8, Wallin dreamed of attending Baylor — but knew she could never afford it. But an anonymous Baylor Bear heard her story and stepped forward to help her dream come true — inspiring countless others along the way.
    • The Fringe Monster: A conspicuous presence at Baylor sporting events, the Fringe Monster (who goes publicly by only her first name, Kat) may be graduating — but the suit will live on, passed down to a fellow member of Alpha Epsilon Delta, a pre-health honor society.
    • Lizzie Lyons: A high school valedictorian with a perfect ACT score, Lyons was offered full rides to schools such as Harvard and Rice. But she chose Baylor for its vision, and four years later, she’s got both her bachelor’s and master’s in communication sciences and disorders.

    Sic em, Class of 2015!
