• Advice for the Class of 2018, from recent Baylor graduates

Baylor graduates give advice to incoming students

There has never been a better time to be a Baylor Bear, and today we welcome the 3,500+ members of Baylor’s Class of 2018 who are experiencing their first day of college.

Freshmen and transfers, take note: From the new life of McLane Stadium and the Foster Campus for Business & Innovation to the tradition and history evident in Burleson Quadrangle, you’re surrounded by reminders of both our past and future. Welcome to the Baylor family!

At graduation ceremonies this past spring, we asked some outgoing seniors what words of advice they would share with you upon your arrival this fall. Here’s what they had to say:

The seniors’ advice, in a nutshell: Don’t waste a moment. Invest in people. Find your niche. Keep an open mind. Enjoy your time with friends. Don’t blow off studying. Get to know your professors. Do it all. Four years go by really fast.

Heed their advice, freshmen! And enjoy your time at Baylor; it will go by quickly.

    Sic ’em, Class of 2018!
