McLane Stadium brick deadline: March 1

A little more than six months from now, some 45,000 Baylor fans will be making their way into the new McLane Stadium. There will be plenty to check out at the new facility before the Bears even kick off: the new layout of the stadium, the countless new amenities McLane Stadium will offer, and of course, the amazing view across the river to campus.

But before my friends and I even venture inside, we’ll likely spend a few minutes on the plaza outside, looking for the stadium brick with our message on it. (I went in with my four best friends from Baylor on a gift to the brick campaign.)

If you’ve been putting off showing your support for McLane Stadium with a gift to the Stadium Bricks Campaign, you’re about to run out of time; all brick orders must be placed by March 1 in order to be in place for the stadium opener Aug. 31.

As a reminder, four options are available: a $175 gift will get you a 4×8-inch brick; $350, an 8×8-inch brick; $500, an 8×8-inch brick with the interlocking BU; and $1250, an 8×8 premium paver that will be part of an interlocking BU design in the South Plaza.
