• ‘Angels Sing,’ produced by Baylor alum, debuts this holiday season

It’s the time of year for warm family holiday movies, and one recently released by a Baylor alumnus features more prominent names than most.

Produced by Fred Miller, BA ’66, Angels Sing stars Harry Connick Jr. and Connie Britton as a husband and wife still dealing with a family tragedy from a Christmas years before. Kris Kristofferson, Willie Nelson and Lyle Lovett all show up in supporting roles. The film is screening in select cities and is also available on DVD, Blu-Ray and Amazon Instant Video, just in time for the holidays.

Some Bears might remember Miller as the director of A Most Significant Journey, an award-winning film that gained broad attention for showing off not only Baylor University but also the early possibilities of HD programming and televisions.

    Sic ’em, Fred!
