• Brazos riverfront development plans could complement Baylor Stadium

The City of Waco is currently considering a proposal for development along the Brazos River that would turn the area adjacent to Robinson Tower into several blocks of riverfront shopping, restaurants, a movie theater, residential units and more — think the San Antonio Riverwalk in miniature.

A series of renderings (click here to view) and the video above of the “Brazos Commons” plans have been released to give an idea of what could be in store for Waco. With Baylor Stadium going up just across I-35, University Parks Drive and the Brazos riverfront could be in store for a grand new look — one that would benefit both the Baylor and Greater Waco communities, as students and other Waco residents enjoy the new offerings along the river.

    Waco’s future is bright!

    Sic ’em, Waco developers!
