Baylor alum elected chair of State Bar of Texas board of directors
Year after year after year, we get to share the news that Baylor law students have again led the state in Texas bar exam pass rate. So it only seems fitting that a Baylor graduate would be elected as chair of the State Bar of Texas Board of Directors.
Cindy Tisdale, BA ’91, JD ’94, took office in late June at the State Bar Annual Meeting. As chair of the board of directors, it’s Tisdale’s job to work closely with the State Bar president to improve the organization.
After graduating from Baylor with a degree in journalism and then a juris doctorate three years later, Tisdale began her career in the McLennan County district attorney’s office. Today, she owns her own family law firm in Granbury, Texas, southwest of Fort Worth.
Sic ’em, Cindy!
