Baylor grads Megan Jackson Carreker (BS ’01) and Aimee Segura Miller (BA ’01) introduced themselves as “sorority sisters and best friends at Baylor University” (eliciting an “awww” from one shark) as they pitched their product line to the investors featured on the ABC show, including billionaire Texan Mark Cuban and FUBU founder Daymond John. After a round of grilling questions, the show’s five sharks declined to invest in Hip Chixs, but did give the budding entrepreneurs some valuable advice on how to proceed on their own.
