Incoming freshman re-creates Baylor campus in impressive detail — in a video game

Posted by The Baylor Proud Team in Just for Fun, Student life, Videos

If you haven’t visited Baylor’s campus lately, incoming freshman Matt Tinsley has you covered. The incoming freshman from Denver painstakingly built the Baylor campus in impressively detailed fashion in the video game Minecraft; take a look:

From the Baylor Sciences Building to Armstrong Browning, Matt nailed the beauty of Baylor’s campus. Next up — Baylor Stadium? Just a thought, Matt…

For a less stylized, more realistic tour of campus, check out Baylor’s Virtual Tour, with flyovers of campus mixed with photos of life here, all narrated by Baylor students. Click below to take the (virtual) tour.

Of course, the best way to see the Baylor campus is to really see it — for yourself, in person. Whether you’re a prospective student or an alum many years past graduation, we’d love to see you around campus. Maybe you can squeeze in a day trip before school starts back this fall, or maybe you can mark down Homecoming 2012 (Nov. 2-4) on your calendar. Regardless of when you can visit — hope to see you soon!

Sic ’em, Matt and all our campus visitors — virtual and otherwise!
