• Baylor EMBA program among top 40 in the world, and other b-school honors

    Baylor Business rankingsNovember was a busy month for Baylor’s Hankamer School of Business, as honors, rankings and competition successes flooded in.

    The school’s Executive MBA program moved up to No. 35 in the nation (according to Financial Times) and No. 37 in the world (according to Bloomberg Businessweek). With campuses in Dallas and Austin, Baylor was ranked third among Texas programs by Businessweek, and Financial Times noted that Baylor was first in Texas for graduates’ percentage salary increase and second in the state in percentage of women in the program.

    At the same time, Baylor’s accounting program again staked its claim as among the nation’s best. Baylor graduate students ranked No. 6 in the U.S. (and tops in Texas) for overall pass rate for first-time candidates on the Uniform Certified Public Accountant (CPA) exam. BU students also led the state with the highest average score.

    Most recently, Hankamer was named the “Most Innovative Business School” in the southern U.S. by EuropeanCEO magazine. The publication applauded Baylor’s holistic, global and entrepreneurial approach to education.
