Happy Thanksgiving!
Today’s the last day of classes before the university shuts down for Thanksgiving, so we’re gonna take a break here on the blog as well. As the Baylor family celebrates on Thursday, there’s certainly plenty to be thankful for!
* A university that is recognized nationally for the value it offers its students;
* A school that believes faith and service are just as important as teaching and research — and that excels at all of them;
* An institution that produces successful alumni in most every field, from education to entertainment to the arts and more.;
* A Baylor family with such strong ties that it draws back alumni from all over the globe;
* A president who uses his resources to serve the university in a million ways;
* Successful sports teams that help build school spirit among students and alumni; and
* Ambassadors like Robert Griffin III who represent Baylor with excellence, integrity and class both on and off the field.
I could go on and on, but you get the idea. I am truly, truly thankful for Baylor University and the Baylor family.
Sic ’em, Bears!
